CANVAS & TEXTILE FRAMING
STRUCTURE & SUPPORT
We prepare and frame canvas, textiles and fabric-based works from our London studio, including canvas stretching, tray frames, floating frames and specialist textile mounting.
Canvas Stretching
Canvas works require a different structural approach from works on paper. We provide professional stretching on custom-built stretcher bars to ensure even tension and a stable foundation for framing.
Tray & Floating Frames
Where the edge of the canvas is intended to remain visible, tray and floating frames provide definition and support. This creates a precise shadow gap while keeping the canvas edge exposed and maintaining separation between the frame and the work.
Textile Framing
Textiles such as silks are framed using hand-stitched, non-invasive techniques that provide secure and even support without adhesives. Whether framed in a deep-section profile or behind specialist glazing, the aim is to protect the material while keeping the presentation clear and carefully finished.
